Speaking of reviews (given my review as below), Mark Wallace has a nice piece about why he reviews books over at
Lemon Hound, what he thinks the purpose of the review is. Review as mini-essay is where Mark starts, and I can't possibly agree more. Why else write reviews other than to delve deeply into a work and its context, and dance with it, so to speak? It's play time and the result is a mutual becoming when approaching reading this way--as a praxis.
